  • Great link. I don't think the CNN article disagrees with what I see in Vegas at all...

"There are many vacant homes in his neighborhood because of foreclosures, and others have been rented out by banks that can't sell them. And with renters, he says, the sense of community has given way to more trash, graffiti and worse."

This is exactly the case...Mind you, I'm not saying this is the best time to be in Vegas...I'm saying it's the best time to buy in Las Vegas. Would you want to buy at a high point? No. We're in a lull. It's perfect! To those people who put at a high point and are now hurting, it's just like playing the market. If you buy high and sell low you're in trouble...

Here's another quote: "The list price then: $400,000. Now: $179,000." Sounds like a great time to buy to me.

Personally, I don't think this article disagrees with me at all. Everything that article mentions that is bad I see as opportunity. And for those who buy in Vegas now and hold for 15-20 years, I think they'll see some rewards.

It's all about being patient right now.

Fair enough. You are doing good work, Vik. Anyway, here is a perspective that conflicts with Nick Nolf's interview. http://www.cnn.com/2009/POLITICS/06/04/sotu.for...
  • Really sorry you didn't think I asked difficult questions. I was hoping the show would provide insight into what people should look for when purchasing a home.

As for Vegas - I personally do think there's tremendous opportunity there at the moment (compared to the rest of the country).

Also - I always let people know what show will occur before I record so I can include questions from the community. Feel free to follow us on twitter (twitter.com/konstructr) to join in on future shows.

Again - really sorry you were disappointed. Will try to do better next time! If you have any questions though - feel free to post them here. I know Nick will gladly participate in the conversation!

Vik, this guy used your format as an informercial for Vegas. You need to ask more difficult questions. Make this agent squirm.
